In 83 villages of Aktobe region, 195 projects worth 29 billion tenge were implemented under the Auyl – El Besigi program over five years.
In general, the program covers 187 settlements of the Aktobe region. As you know, its goal is to improve the lives of people in rural areas. Within the framework of the Auyl – El Besigi program, roads, healthcare, education, culture, and sports facilities are being built, issues of providing settlements with water and gas, landscaping, and job creation are being resolved.
How this program is being implemented in the region – this issue was considered at a staff meeting, which was chaired by Akim of the region Askhat Shakharov.
The head of the Department of Economics and Budget Planning, Nurzhan Maksatov, told about the progress of the implementation of "Auyl – El besigi". Over the five years of the program's implementation, 79 social facilities were built and overhauled in the region, 167.5 km of utility networks were modernized, 116.1 km of roads were built and repaired.
"This year, 9.8 billion tenge has been allocated for the implementation of 59 projects in 39 villages. It is planned to build 19.1 km of utility networks and 11.9 km of water pipes, repair and build 32 social facilities. 12 projects are transitioning. 27 projects should be completed by the end of the year. Thus, according to the results of nine months, 68% of the allocated funds or 6.7 billion tenge have been disbursed," Nurzhan Maksatov specified.
It is worth noting that in 2025, 15 projects are planned to be implemented in Aktobe region under the Auyl – El Besigi program, of which 11 are transitioning and 4 are new. This will require 5.9 billion tenge.
After the report of the head of the Department of Economics and Budget Planning, Askhat Shakharov asked the akim of each district questions related to problematic projects. The head of the region instructed to ensure the timely implementation and commissioning of current facilities in accordance with the production schedule.
"The Auyl – El Besigi program is aimed at developing rural areas and improving the quality of life in villages. It is important that all participants of the program actively use the allocated funds and complete projects on time. It is necessary to develop new criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of contractors. If the contract is found to be unfair, the contract should be terminated, which will avoid inefficient use of budget funds and ensure high quality of project implementation. This will strengthen control over the fulfillment of obligations," the mayor instructed.
