At the forum of rural akims, organized for the first time in Aktobe, topical issues were discussed and suggestions were made. The meeting was attended by party Secretary Yerzhan Zhylkybayev, deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament Kazybek Alishev, akim of the region Askhat Shakharov, akims of districts, cities, rural districts, deputies of the maslikhat elected from the AMANAT party and heads of departments and departments.
"The creation of a developed democratic society is one of the main principles of the policy of the Head of State. In his Messages, the President repeatedly notes that conditions are being systematically created to strengthen the principles of justice and democracy in the country. Currently, there are 157 akims of different levels working in the region. By Decree of President Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev, elections of 155 mayors of cities and villages were held in 2021. In 2023, as part of the pilot project, three akims of the district were directly elected. It is necessary to strictly monitor the implementation of party election programs and promises of candidates, as the party is responsible for the actions of akims. Effective fulfillment of obligations on the part of parties and akims will ensure respect for the trust of citizens," the head of the region said at the opening of the forum.
In his speech, party Secretary Yerzhan Zhylkybayev noted that the legislative package of reforms in the country was developed in a short period of time, and drew attention to the revival of political institutions, the fact that the Mazhilis and Maslikhats became multiparty, and single-mandate deputies returned.
"These Reforms have directly affected the activities of the AMANAT party. In the new socio-political situation in the party, systematic internal changes were carried out, methods of working with the people were updated. The party gives priority to work based on the demands of the voters. She recommended worthy candidates who are respected in society, which made it possible to gain the trust of the people in the elections to the Mazhilis, maslikhats and akims. That is why the AMANAT party pays attention to systematic work on the ground and holds a forum of rural akims in all regions of the country," he said.
The party secretary focused on several key aspects: the election of rural mayors, the implementation of the election program and party projects, the work of public reception rooms, as well as interaction with young people. He noted that the proposals, ideas and new initiatives presented at the forum will give a new impetus to the hard work and professionalism of rural akims elected from the AMANAT party.
According to the chairman of the regional branch of the party, Yerbol Danagulov, who held the forum, elections of 155 rural akims have been held in Aktobe region since July 2021, which were won by 141 (90%) candidates nominated by the party. Currently, there are 7 cities and 135 rural districts in Aktobe region, in 133 of them the akims are members of the AMANAT party.
During the meeting, the akims of Kobda district and Tanirbergen rural district of Martuk district, elected from the AMANAT party, spoke. The work of the forum continued with breakout sessions and training seminars for mayors of cities and rural districts.
