In the first nine months of 2024, the production of bearings in physical terms increased 1.5 times (50%) and amounted to 21.2 thousand tons against 14.2 thousand tons for the same period last year.
The main reason for the growth is an increase in consumer demand for cylindrical roller bearings from the only manufacturer in Kazakhstan - Stepnogorsk Bearing Plant, more than 85% of whose products are exported to the EAEU countries. This has significantly increased the workload of the enterprise, which makes the plans for production by the end of this year look optimistic.
It should be noted that cylindrical roller bearings have a wide range of applications: they are installed in machine tools, units of industrial gear equipment, and transport equipment.
