A school for 60 places was opened in the village of Terisakkan in the Kobda district.
Akim of the region Askhat Shakharov took part in the solemn event. He congratulated the locals on the National Holiday – Republic Day.
"It is symbolic that on such a special and sacred holiday for every citizen of Kazakhstan, we are opening new schools in the region. All conditions are being created in our country so that we live in peace, and our children receive high-quality education and decent upbringing.
Forty percent of the regional budget is allocated annually to the field of education. This is an investment in the future of our nation and a guarantee that, by receiving a good education, children will be able to achieve great heights in life. Currently, 14 schools are being built in the region within the framework of the National project "Comfortable Schools", where a comfortable educational environment is being created that promotes the comprehensive development of children. By 2025, 44 new schools for 24,150 students are planned to be built in the region. With their introduction, the issue of the shortage of student places in the region will be solved.
Once again, I congratulate the residents of Terisakkan on the opening of a new school. I am sure that its graduates will achieve success in life and create a bright future for our country," the governor of the region expressed warm wishes to the villagers.
It is worth noting that the residents of Terisakkan have been waiting for a new school for three years. The old school, built in 1967, has never been renovated. According to the results of the technical inspection, the building was declared an emergency. Then, in 2022, a new school began to be built in the village. But Er-Kanat Service LLP has not completed work on the facility. The contract was terminated with this LLP. After the project was adjusted in 2023, Stronef LLP became the new contractor. As part of a working trip to the Kobdinsky district, the governor of the region instructed a representative of a contractor to perform high-quality work and deliver the object on time. A year later, the new school opened its doors to students.
According to the director of Terisakkan secondary school Ulpan Sanakayeva, 95 students will study at the new educational institution. The training will be conducted in two languages: state and Russian. There are nine classrooms, a computer lab, a gym, a library, and a dining room. The school organizes classes in circles. New equipment and equipment have been purchased for the lessons.
Immediately after the official opening, local residents were given a tour of the school. Everyone was satisfied with the conditions created for children.
