On November 15, 2024, Shymkent united for a common goal – to make its city cleaner and more comfortable. Within the framework of the republican program "Taza Kazakhstan", large-scale environmental events were held in each district. By the way, these actions were not just cleaning, but a real example of the power of unity and love for the native land.
So, in the neighborhoods "Samal-3" and "Nurshuak" a special atmosphere prevailed on the streets. Families with children, activists and veterans went out to clean up. Chairman of the Council of veterans of the district Ulykpan Bashenov noted that every participation in such actions is a contribution to the future:
"We don't just clean up the trash, we teach each other to respect their land."
And in the Zabadam neighborhood of the al-Farabiysky district, the streets were transformed thanks to the efforts of the townspeople. Not only have the sidewalks and lawns been cleaned here, but flowers have also been planted in flower beds.
"When you create beauty together, you want to preserve it for a long time. Today we are doing this for ourselves and our children," said Tolebek Kenjehan, chairman of the City Council of Veterans.
Also, a large-scale cleaning took place along the Shymkent canal. Volunteers cleared the area from Alimbetov Street to Torekulov. Youth leader Aigerim Nurlan confessed:
"When you see a clean area, you realize how important your contribution is. It motivates you not to litter and appreciate cleanliness."
In the Turan microdistrict, participants cleaned the streets in the morning, planted trees and decorated their yards. Deputy Chairman of the regional Council of Veterans Perdesh Yesenbek expressed hope:
"May such days become a good tradition that unites us all."
Special attention was paid to the Kazygurt microdistrict. Residents have removed the area along the A-2 highway and Akzhar Street. The head of the Veterans Council, Adilbek Satybaldy, stressed that responsibility for cleanliness is not the work of individuals, but everyone's business.
Since the beginning of the implementation of the Taza Kazakhstan program, more than 15 thousand people took part in the events in Shymkent alone, 120 pieces of equipment were involved, and over 500 tons of garbage were removed. In the near future, additional actions are planned to cover even more territories and attract the maximum number of citizens to participate.
