During a working detour and a meeting with the population of the Zhetysu district, Akim of Almaty Yerbolat Dosayev inspected the green zone, landscaped within the framework of the Budget of People's Participation program. Previously, there was a spontaneous landfill at this place. This object is located on Ussuriyskaya Street in the Zhetysu district of the city.
"Thanks to the People's Participation Budget program, we were able to offer our ideas, which have already been successfully implemented. The street has literally transformed, has become comfortable and attractive for living," said a local resident.
Within the framework of the project, more than one kilometer of sidewalk has been laid, a football field with an area of 220 square meters has been equipped, and children's and sports grounds have been installed on an area of 750 square meters.
After reviewing the project, Yerbolat Dosayev noted that work on creating a comfortable urban environment for residents of the megalopolis will continue.
In turn, residents of the district thanked the head of the city for favorable conditions for recreation for adults and children, comfortable hiking. At their request, this year, within the framework of the program "Budget of national participation", the current repair of squares on Krylov, Omarov, Botkin, Bokeikhanov, etc. was carried out. "There are no vacant land plots in the city, so next year we will start planting trees even on small plots to create a feeling of a square or park. We will use plots of land with an area of 5 or 10 acres, which we will improve and turn into places for walking. We plan to implement such a program throughout the city," Yerbolat Dosayev said during a meeting with residents of the district.
It should be noted that the program "Budget of public participation" is being actively implemented in the megalopolis. This year, 18.8 billion tenge has been allocated for the project, which is 5.8 billion tenge more than last year. Residents of the city had the opportunity to propose and implement 364 projects for the improvement of courtyards, public spaces, and the creation of sports and playgrounds.
