Akim of Almaty Yerbolat Dosayev, during a working detour of the Alatau district, got acquainted with the progress of construction of water supply and sewerage networks in the MD. Boraldai.
There were no engineering networks in the microdistrict attached to the city in 2014. In 2019, only 8.2 km of trunk networks were laid. In September of this year, on behalf of the head of the city, a large–scale project was launched, providing for the construction of 76.4 km of networks, of which 52.1 km are water supply and 24.3 km are sewerage. Thus, all residents of the MKR will be covered by central communications. Boraldai, of which, according to the Alatau akimat, there are more than 4 thousand people.
Today, 7 km of networks have been laid. Completion of construction and commissioning of facilities is planned for October 2025.
Yerbolat Dosayev instructed the akim of the Alatau district to keep the schedule and quality of work under control. The head of the city noted that the project should be completed on time and meet all standards, as water supply and sewerage are the basis for a comfortable and safe stay.
It should be recalled that the modernization of engineering infrastructure is actively underway in Almaty. In 9 months of this year, 219 km of new water supply and sanitation networks were built, 27.3 km of existing networks were modernized. In 2025, it is planned to build another 240 km and modernize 48 km of networks.
Thus, thanks to the complex of measures taken for about 100 thousand citizens, the long-term problem of water supply and sanitation associated with high wear of engineering networks will be solved.
