Taking into account the appeals of residents, on behalf of the mayor of the city, the construction of a new center began in February 2023. As of today, the construction work has been fully completed. By the end of November this year, it is planned to put the building into operation and transfer it to the balance of the city public health department. After passing the necessary procedures to obtain permits, including licenses to engage in relevant activities, the PHC center will begin accepting the first patients. According to the acting head of the Public Health Department of Almaty, Nazgul Imangalieva, the opening is scheduled for December this year.
The new five-storey primary health care center is a branch of the city polyclinic No. 25 and will serve about 20 thousand residents of the MKR. Karasu and Ozhet. The design capacity is 200 visits per shift. The new building has four departments: the district service, the department of specialized medical care, gynecology, and the clinical diagnostic department. The center is equipped with modern ultrasound, X-ray, audiogram, spirography, colposcopy, and ECG equipment.
Thanks to the opening of a new medical facility, the load on polyclinics No. 25 and No. 21 will be reduced and residents will be able to quickly get the necessary help in a modern and comfortable medical facility.
Since the beginning of 2024, three family medical outpatient clinics have been put into operation in Almaty: in the MD. Nurshashkan for 100 visits per shift, md. Mamyr – 200 visits and in the MD. Kemel - 200 visits per shift.
