Since 2020, students have had to study in adapted buildings. Until the doors of the new educational institution finally opened.
The instruction of the Head of State to reduce the number of three-shift and emergency schools in the country is being successfully implemented in the Aktobe region. The construction of a new school in the district center of the Aitekebi district, the village of Temirbek Zhurgenov, has been completed and put into operation.
The grand opening of the school was attended by the head of the Department of Education of Aktobe region Zhaiyk Sultan, akim of the district Dauletiyar Tuguzbayev and villagers.
Congratulatory speeches at the ceremony were delivered by V. F. Galutsky, who was the director of Komsomol Secondary School for 28 years, and 92-year-old R. Makhanov, a veteran of education. They expressed warm wishes to teachers and students.
420 students of the old Komsomol secondary school, recognized as an emergency, will now continue their studies at the new educational institution.
Komsomolsk Comprehensive School has 270 places, 540 students will be able to study here in two shifts. The school has a 78-seat canteen, equipped technology classrooms, spacious sports and assembly halls, outdoor sports and playgrounds.
Recall that in October last year, Akim of the region Askhat Shakharov instructed the construction department to hand over the school this academic year. The construction of the school was supervised by the head of the region.
The contractor GOLDEN CITY DS LLP started construction work on July 20, 2022.
The total area of the built school is 5991.6 sq. m., the area of the educational block is 4895 sq. m.
