On November 15, a new training gym complex was launched at the Professional Training Center of Kazaeronavigation RSE. It is designed for the initial training and training of air traffic controllers.
The training complex "Air Traffic Simulation and Voice Technologies", manufactured in the USA, was created by the world developer of air traffic control simulation systems UFA Inc. by order of the Kazaeronavigation enterprise.
It allows not only to undergo initial training for future dispatchers, but also to improve the level of professional skills of existing ones.
The technical capabilities of the complex allow you to simulate air traffic and the ground situation at the airfield.
And artificial intelligence can replace a pilot during training, and AI will already be coming to radio communication. Also, the functions of the latter include virtual reality modeling, which will allow you to recreate the real workplace of an air traffic controller as much as possible.
The aeronautical maps uploaded to the system of the new training simulator complex simulate the existing airfields and airspace of the Republic. Today, there are no analogues of this equipment either in Kazakhstan or in Central Asia.
According to the results of 2023, 291 people received simulator training at the Vocational Training Center of Kazaeronavigation RSE. In the first 9 months of this year, 192 people received similar training. The new simulator will allow the Center's instructors to train twice as many future and current air traffic controllers.
By the way, the Vocational Training Center is the only aviation training center in the Republic of Kazakhstan, which has the status of a full participant in the ICAO TRAINAIR PLUS Gold program. Today, the management of the CCI sets ambitious goals to achieve the status of ICAO TRAINAIR PLUS Platinum and become a leading training center in the aviation sector not only in Kazakhstan, but also in Central Asia and the CIS.
