In coordination with the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and deputies of the city maslikhat, 39-year-old Maksat Samatuly was appointed akim of the Saraishyk district. Prior to his appointment, he held the position of akim of the Almaty district.
He started his career in 2007 as a specialist in the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Management of the city of Almaty. Over the years, he worked in Astana City Municipal Enterprise, the Department of Energy and Utilities of Astana, etc.
From 2012 to May 2019, he held various positions in the office of the akim of the Almaty district. From May 2019 to August 2022, he held the positions of deputy akim of Almaty district, deputy akim of Baikonur district.
Since August 2022, he has worked as the akim of the Almaty district.
As part of the instructions of the Head of State, the akim of the Saraishyk district has set a number of tasks for the development of the district and residential areas.
