The Vice Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources held a bilateral meeting with the Chairman of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) The seventh evaluation cycle by Jim Skea.
During the meeting, the importance of preparing the Seventh Assessment Report, which will make an important contribution to the next Global Summing Up, as well as the possibility of exchanging experience between experts for the preparation of methodological reports, was noted.
Climate change assessments conducted by the IPCC based on the work of scientists from around the world allow policy makers to make rational, evidence-based decisions.
For reference. The IPCC is the leading body for assessing climate change, established by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) in 1988.
