On November 1, Almaty will host the launch of the Medeu skating rink in technical mode, everyone will be able to visit it according to the schedule of sessions. On November 2, the grand opening of the new season of mass skating at the Medeu alpine skating rink will take place.
The opening ceremony will be held from 12:00 to 15:30 hours.
A concert program with the participation of Kazakh pop stars is provided for visitors. From 17:00 to 20:00, guests will enjoy an evening session with contests, prizes from the host and a DJ who creates a disco atmosphere.
In the new season, visitors will enjoy daily mass skating sessions, festive events and sports competitions. Skate rental and a recreation area are available for those who wish to use. For the convenience of guests, fast food outlets will be organized on the territory of the rink.
The Directorate of Sports Facilities in Almaty recommends that residents and guests of the city purchase tickets in advance through the official website www.medeu.kz to avoid queues at the ticket offices and to organize a quick passage through the turnstile system and use public transport to avoid traffic jams and parking difficulties.
On the opening day, it is planned to strengthen the bus route No. 12 to the Medeu alpine skating rink. Buses will run on weekdays from 8:00 to 00:00 and on weekends from 8:00 to 01:00.
