The Regional Museum of local lore named after Turar Ryskulov, located in tulkibas, has been replenished with a number of valuable exhibits today. The guests of the 130th anniversary of the state and public figure visited the Cultural Center, where they learned about the history and achievements of the district, about the career of a unique person. He got acquainted with the book exhibition.
Mukhtar Kazybek, a well-known scientist-researcher, writer, and turartologist, handed over the original book, which was published 100 years ago. The granddaughter of the great man Adelya Ryskulova presented two letters written by her grandfather in Chagatai and a book related to the camp "Algeria". In addition, the first deputy chairman of the Association of Kazakhs of the world Zhasylbek Turysbekov presented a unique painting.
The cultural center of the Regional Museum of local lore was founded in 1963 on a public basis. In 1976 it received the status of a state institution. In 1983, it was reorganized into a branch of the Regional Museum of local lore. Currently, the museum fund contains about 7 thousand exhibits. Of these, the main fund is more than 5 thousand, the rest of the exhibits belong to the scientific and auxiliary fund.
In 1994, in honor of the 100th anniversary of the Great State and public figure Turar Ryskulov, the museum was named after him. The museum consists of a two-story building with a total area of 753.3 square meters. Inside it are the exposition halls and the stock vault.
It should be noted that the 95th, 100th, 110th, 120th anniversary of the person was celebrated in Tulkubas district, which was the ancestral home of Arda Azamat. This year, the 130th anniversary of the public figure, which has become a good tradition, continues in the region and district and is celebrated at the highest level.
