This project has been implemented since 2021.
The long-awaited sports complex opened its doors in the village of Karatogai. In accordance with the instruction of the President on the development of mass and children's sports, the new facility will provide an excellent opportunity for the youth of the village to engage in physical education and sports.
The contract with Er-Kanat Service LLP was concluded 3 years ago, at the same time, the complete installation of metal structures was carried out. However, in 2022, the project was temporarily suspended due to rising prices for building materials. The contractor expressed the need to finalize the design and estimate documentation.
This year, 219 million tenge was allocated from the budget of the Martuk district to complete construction works under the control of the akim of the region, and the work was resumed. Today, the sports complex is fully ready.
Currently, 42 teenagers are engaged in wrestling at the sports complex. In the near future, it is planned to open sports sections for volleyball, football, freestyle wrestling, togyzkumalak and table tennis.
With the opening of the facility, 10 people have been employed permanently.
Akim of the Martuk district Medet Yerkakov took part in the opening ceremony of the sports complex and congratulated the gathered villagers. In his speech, he stressed that this complex will increase the sports activity of rural youth and make an important contribution to the formation of a healthy lifestyle.
