Today, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received a member of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics Nguyen Xuan Thang. The Head of State called Vietnam one of Kazakhstan's key partners among the Southeast Asian countries and stressed the importance of strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation in the fields of economy, culture, education, and tourism.
On the same day, a memorandum of understanding on the establishment of fraternal relations was signed in Astana between the Akimat of East Kazakhstan Region and the People's Committee of Bac Ninh Province of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Recall that in May of this year, the Vietnamese delegation visited East Kazakhstan region, and its representatives discussed with the head of the region Yermek Kosherbayev the prospects for cooperation and partnership in the fields of tourism and agriculture, light and textile industries.
The main point in the document was the condition for the exchange of delegations aimed at deepening mutual understanding and building practical experience in the field of management, economics and culture.
During the signing of the strategically important document, the parties came to an agreement on cooperation in a number of key sectors of the economy - industry, infrastructure, logistics, medicine and, of course, tourism. This is also facilitated by the Free Trade Agreement between Vietnam and the Eurasian Economic Union, which will allow both sides to effectively integrate their economies and expand trade ties.
