The implementation of the Unified Video Monitoring System (UES) project continues in Almaty. This was reported in the Digitalization Department of the city and the project office of the Akimat of Almaty.
The main task of the ECM project is to combine all city video surveillance cameras on one platform for the formation of video analytics in real time and reusable use of the received video streams for different tasks.
Video analytics is based on the recognition of smoke, fire, abandoned objects, emergency events of a natural and man-made nature, recognition of clothing, gender and faces, etc.
Currently, work is underway to withdraw video streams from 603 public and 906 private facilities in the ECM.
As of today, 45 thousand video cameras have been displayed in the Unified Video Monitoring System.
In the second quarter of this year, 300 additional hardware and software complexes of the Sergek intelligent security system were installed.
It should be noted that there are 1,641 Sergek complexes in the city, consisting of 9,034 video cameras.
