The construction of a new school for 300 places has been completed in the Shemonaikhinsky district of the East Kazakhstan region. The technical opening of the school took place today, Akim of the region Yermek Kosherbayev got acquainted with the progress of construction work.

Everything is provided here for high-quality and comfortable education of children. The construction work was done with dignity, this is an example of how to work," the head of the region noted.
The new school is located on 16/1 Puteiskaya Street, its total area is 5513.5 square meters. The design and construction were carried out under the supervision of JSC "Samruk-Kazyna Construction". The general contractor was Firm Asia LLP, and technical and design supervision was carried out by Vostok Engineering LLP and JV OST-Project LLP.
According to the director of the school, Nazigul Totekina, 335 students from grades 1 to 11, as well as 15 children in the pre-school group, will study at the educational institution.
- We hope to complete all the necessary procedures, and students will be able to start classes at the new school from the third quarter, - said the school principal.
Innes Chernysheva, Head of the Education Department of East Kazakhstan Region, added that this school was built to replace the old building, which is more than 90 years old. The comfortable school is equipped with modern classrooms, appliances and is fully adapted for people with disabilities.
There are now four schools in the city of Shemonaiha, including a new one. Students and teaching staff of the old school No. 4, where children are currently studying, will "move" to the new building. This is especially important for the Railway district of the city, where previously there was one outdated school.
It is not just an educational institution, but also an important contribution to the development of the region. Residents of Shemonaihi are looking forward to when the doors of Shakarim School No. 4 will open for the first students.
