Almaty Students Week festival has ended in Almaty

A large-scale week "Almaty Students Week" dedicated to the International Students' Day has ended in Almaty. With the support of the Almaty City Youth Policy Department, 28 events were organized within the framework of the festival, which were attended by about 15,000 students of our city.
One of the highlights of the festival was the career guidance festival "CareerTime". This large-scale event allowed young people to determine their professional direction and familiarize themselves with the needs of the labor market. The festival was attended by 26 universities and 30 large companies that provided more than 400 vacancies for young people. The total number of participants was more than 2,000 school graduates and unemployed youth.
The Almaty Students Week Festival has become a large platform that unites the active youth of our city. Each participant not only introduced himself, but also contributed to the development of the Almaty student community. This festival proved that young people can realize their dreams and support important values. We are proud of our students and support their initiatives."
As part of the "ALMATY STUDENT'S WEEK", the final stage of the "Best Student Group – 2024" competition took place
The competition united students of universities and colleges of Almaty in a single creative space. More than 30 applications were submitted to participate in the competition, and in total, over 300 students expressed their desire to participate.
According to the results of the competition, the student team "BusinessLAB" of the Almaty State College of Business was recognized as the "Best student group" of the city. The second place was taken by the team "DreamTeams" of the Kazakh National Agrarian University, and the third place was taken by the team "Histrue" of the Kazakh National Women's Pedagogical University. The winners were awarded with diplomas and cash certificates.
One of the significant events of the week was the "Prodvision": a festival of ideas of young leaders, held in the community center of the Auezovsky district. To make the festive atmosphere special, the event was organized in the style of "Harry Potter".
In addition, the Alrathon competition was held in Almaty, aimed at creating an accessible environment for young people with special needs. More than 100 participants presented innovative solutions in the field of accessibility, joined teams and received the support of experts. The competition has become a platform for the popularization of artificial intelligence technologies and their application to solve social problems.
The game "Youth League of KVN Almaty" was held in the theater of traditional arts "Alatau", where young comedians of the city gathered on one stage.
And the ICE Party, which took place at Medeu and gathered more than 1,000 students from various universities of the city, was a wonderful end to the week. On the festive day, fun contests, interactive games and flash mobs were organized for students on the ice. Young artists performed for the guests, who energized everyone and set the rhythm of the holiday

The Almaty Students Week festival has become an important step in strengthening the traditions of celebrating Students' Day and has opened up new opportunities for creativity and self-development of young people. As noted in the Department of Youth Policy of the city of Almaty, this project will be continued next year.
