In the Turkestan region, work continues on the coverage of the population by the state system of compulsory social health insurance (OSMS). To date, more than 2 million residents have been registered in the system, of which 350 thousand people are uninsured. This is 23% less than last month. The issues of the implementation of the CSHI were discussed at a staff meeting chaired by the akim of the region Darkhan Satybaldy. He instructed to strengthen awareness-raising and continue to identify uninsured citizens.
– Strengthen your work in the field of compulsory social health insurance. There are still those who are negligent about this issue. Akimats of districts and cities should, together with relevant departments, carry out explanatory work among individual entrepreneurs and farms. Everyone who receives subsidies and runs a business is required to make contributions. In addition, it is necessary to improve the quality of medical care. The heads of responsible organizations must work in concert," said Darkhan Satybaldy.
Bakhyt Ismakhanbetov, director of the branch of the OSMS Foundation for the Turkestan region, said that more than 27 thousand farms remain in the region that do not pay contributions to the OSMS. Previously, many problems were solved using the "E-Saktandyru" system.
Over the past three months, mobile groups have contributed to the withdrawal of seasonal and permanent workers from the shadow labor market as part of a campaign under the slogan "3% in a week, 12% in a month". The Regional Headquarters regularly holds meetings aimed at increasing the coverage of the CSHI population and reducing the number of persons in categories D and E (citizens who do not participate in the insurance system).
In addition, from 2022-2023, the State Revenue Department sent notifications to more than 43 thousand citizens who did not pay contributions. Their bank accounts were frozen. To date, 8 thousand of them have paid off their debts.
