On the sidelines of COP29, Vice Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan M. Oshurbayev took part in a high-level panel session on ONUW issues with a focus on children and youth, organized by UNICEF.
It was noted that Kazakhstan intends to adopt UNICEF approaches, which emphasize the importance of education and capacity building, when developing the new ONUV 3.0. In particular, it is planned to include a separate chapter on education, vulnerability of children and youth in the ONUV.
