At the IX WorldSkills Kazakhstan 2024 Championship of working professions, the Akmola team won 2 gold, 1 silver and 4 bronze medals.
During three competitive days, from November 14 to 16, on the territory of the international exhibition center "EXPO", college students of the country demonstrated their skills and abilities in the declared competencies.
A team of Akmola residents, consisting of 32 students, took part in all 30 competencies presented.

According to the results of the Republican Championship, two representatives of the Higher Technical College ofKokshetau Kozhakhmet Adilet and Matsegora Sergey G.Kokshetau, as well as Meruert Khamzina from the Higher College of Stepnogorsk became the winners of the championship in the competencies "Mobile Robotics" and "Visual merchandising and showcase".
2nd place – Ilyas Gatin, competence "Mobile application development" Higher Technical College of Kokshetau;
3rd place – Kabibola Elaman, competence "Industrial automation" Higher Agrotechnical College of S. Shagalaly;
3rd place – Belenets Karolina, competence "Confectionery business" VTK Shchuchinsk;
3rd place – Nina Chervonyak, competence "Painting and decorative works" of VTK Kokshetau;
3rd place – Artur Abraev and Oleg Dyachenko, competence "Mechatronics" Higher Technical College of Kokshetau.
In addition, our participants were awarded 11 medallions of excellence. Such an award is awarded to specialists who have reached the international standard in their competence, but who did not have enough points to win a prize.
Recall that this year the championship brought together 555 young professionals under the age of 22 - the winners of the regional WorldSkills championships.
