As part of the housing renovation program in the city of Kokshetau, the demolition of six dilapidated 8-apartment buildings in the square of Ualikhanov – Gogol and Sain – Bykovsky streets has been successfully completed. This stage has become an important step in updating the urban infrastructure and creating comfortable conditions for residents.
The demolished houses were in poor technical condition, which posed a threat to human safety. Instead, modern residential complexes with improved living conditions, including landscaped courtyards, landscaping and better engineering infrastructure, will be built on this territory.
The renovation program allows not only to update the housing stock, but also to improve the standard of living of citizens. In order to start implementing the program, 48 apartments in 6 houses were purchased from the former owners. Residents have received money or will receive apartments of the appropriate area in a new building.
The project is being implemented on behalf of the Akim of the Akmola region by an authorized organization - JSC SEC KOKSHE. The subsidiary of KOKSHETAU ENGINEERING LLP will soon hold a competition among investors and the construction organization.
"The investor selected in the framework of competitive procedures will take over the financing of the construction and undertakes to return 48 apartments for the resettlement fund, which will be used in the future for other renovation projects. The remaining apartments will be sold on the market to ensure the payback of the project. Completion of construction and commissioning of facilities are scheduled for November 2025," said Ali Aliyev, Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC SEC KOKSHE.
In general, renovation of 11 local zones is planned in the city of Kokshetau, where dilapidated houses are compactly located. In total, about 800 apartments will be demolished.
