The XXV International Conference of the International Firefighters Sports Federation is taking place in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, from November 17 to 21
and the rescuers. The conference is attended by heads of fire and rescue services, associations and federations of fire and rescue sports from 19 countries.
Ramil Kamalov, Chairman of the Fire Service Committee, and Dauren Danaev, Executive Director of the Kazakhstan Sports Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers, are taking part from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan.
The Conference discusses issues of further development of the International Sports Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers, international cooperation, organization and holding of the World Championships in fire and Rescue sports in 2025. The conference is organized by the General Directorate of Civil Defense of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Director of the International Sports Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers Andrey Kalinin expressed sincere gratitude to the Minister of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan Genghis Arinov and Executive Director of the Kazakhstan Sports Federation Dauren Danaev for the high organization and holding of the World Championship in Almaty. He noted that due to the professional training and high level of organization of events, Kazakhstan has become an example for other countries. In the director's speech, he said that such events contribute to strengthening the brotherhood between rescuers from different countries, improving practical skills in the field of fire safety and popularizing fire and rescue sports among children and youth.
Chairman of the KPS of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ramil Kamalov noted that participation in international competitions opens up new horizons for the exchange of experience and increases the level of professionalism of Kazakhstani rescuers. The success of our team in the International arena is confirmed by the high level of training and responsibility of the service staff.
