A personal exhibition of Karaganda artist and teacher Beken Mukushev will open in the Karaganda Regional Museum of Fine Arts on November 20 at 16:00. The exhibition entitled "Reflections on the Eternal" will feature more than 70 paintings and graphic works reflecting the philosophical quest and creative vision of the master.
Beken Mukushev graduated from the N. V. Gogol Art College in Almaty in 1978. He worked as a teacher at a secondary school at the Daria railway station.
He began his creative career in 1991 with interior design projects of Karaganda cafes and restaurants. He participated in city and regional exhibitions.
In 2016, the artist began collaborating with the independent MonARBAT art gallery Kairat Kay-Kay. Together with the gallery, he participated in solemn and festive events of the city and the republic. All this time, he continued to teach children and adults drawing and painting.
The exhibition will run until November 30th.
