The problem of corruption is one of the important factors of modern social development, and countering it is a joint task of government agencies and citizens at all levels. Effective anti-corruption is possible only on the basis of a comprehensive system of measures.
Thus, in the territorial divisions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, various measures are being taken to prevent and combat corruption.
A seminar meeting on the topic was held in the regional branch of the Amanat party: "Anti-corruption in civil protection bodies" with the participation of employees of the Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Anti-Corruption in the Zhetisu region, the Amanat party, structural and district divisions of the Emergency Situations Department of the Zhetisu region. During the meeting, Bauyrzhan Begimbek, Senior officer of the Prevention Department of the Agency for Combating Corruption in the Zhetisu region, spoke, who informed the audience about the requirements for anti-corruption legislation, in particular, about the personal responsibility of top managers for corruption offenses by subordinate employees and for the systematic failure to take necessary measures to prevent the commission of corruption offenses among subordinates.
An event on the prevention of offenses among employees of the Emergency situations Department of the Akmola region was held in Kokshetau. Representatives of various departments, such as the Prevention Department of the Department of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Akmola region, were invited to the seminar meeting. Employees of the anti-corruption service conducted a report on the prevention of corruption offenses and the elimination of prerequisites for their commission.
As part of the republican campaign "Kutkarushylar – zhemkorlykka karsy", a meeting with a representative of the Anti-Corruption Agency was held in the emergency Department of Atyrau region. During the meeting, an agency employee announced administrative and criminal liability for corruption offenses. It was brought to the conclusion that in the performance of official duties, it is necessary to show good faith and work to increase public confidence in public institutions.
Chief specialist of the Prevention Department of the Anti-Corruption Agency Department for Zhambyl region Aybek Azhibayev was invited to the Emergency Situations Department of Zhambyl region, who brought prevention and formation of anti-corruption immunity among the personnel. At this event, explanatory work was carried out on legislative changes aimed at combating corruption, on penalties and liability, and measures to protect citizens who reported corruption.
At the end of the organized seminars, statistics of corruption crimes, video materials with arrests of corrupt officials and anti-corruption measures were brought to the staff of civil protection agencies.
It should be noted that the Ministry of Emergency Situations pays special attention to the fight against corruption. Necessary measures are being taken to prevent and prevent its manifestations, as well as preventive work is being carried out on an ongoing basis to foster intolerance to corruption among employees. Individual educational work is being carried out with personnel, for which the position of Deputy head of the Emergency Department in charge of the Department of Personnel and Educational Work was introduced. In order to provide legal education to employees, as part of the professional training of personnel, the main provisions of the Concept of Anti-Corruption Policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2022-2026, as well as anti-corruption issues in the light of the Message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan were repeatedly discussed. Constant and purposeful work is being carried out in this direction.
