A meeting of the commission on state symbols was held in the regional akimat under the chairmanship of Akim of the region Askhat Shakharov. The meeting was attended by representatives of law enforcement agencies, heads of government agencies, akims of Aktobe city and districts.
The main attention was paid to the issues of propaganda and the correct use of state symbols in state and social institutions.
Head of the Department of Internal Policy Alibek Bayneshov reported on the ongoing work on the promotion and use of the National Anthem, Coat of Arms and Flag.
During the year, the commission on state symbols under the Governor of the region monitored about 240 state institutions and organizations, 33 rural districts were examined. The members of the regional commission monitored the use of state symbols in 14 sports institutions and 12 healthcare organizations.
Alibek Bayneshov listed the revealed violations in the use of state symbols.
"In November, the members of the commission conducted monitoring in the Temir and Wilsky districts. In total, 54 institutions in two districts were checked. Violations in the use of state symbols were also revealed.
So, in the meeting room of the Temir district akim's office, the national Flag has lost its aesthetic appearance. And there was no flag at all in the office of the head of the Department of architecture, urban Planning and construction of the Temir district. There was no flag lighting at Shubarkudyk Primary School No. 5. The state symbols used in the akimat of the rural district named after Sh. Bersiev, in the kindergarten "Baldyrgan", in the office of the director of the gymnasium named after Sh. Bekmukhambetov, in the building of the state revenue department of the Wilsky district are outdated and have lost their aesthetic appearance," the head of the Department of Internal Policy announced the results of the audit.
During the monitoring, explanatory work was carried out and recommendations were made to eliminate the identified violations.
After the speakers' speeches, the governor of the region reminded the audience that state symbols are a solid foundation of the country's sovereignty and their use must strictly comply with approved standards.
"State bodies are obliged to ensure respect for the State symbols of our country and their use in accordance with approved standards," the mayor said.
Askhat Shakharov instructed the leadership of the Department of Internal Policy of the region to strengthen work on the use and promotion of state symbols in the region and raise public awareness of compliance with standards in the handling of state symbols.
