On November 18, 2024, within the framework of the 10th meeting of partners of the Joint Lending Mechanism (JCM), organized by the delegation of Japan, the Kazakh delegation joined the discussion of global efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
The event was attended by representatives of the Governments of the JCM partner countries, including ministers. The participants of the meeting welcomed the new partner countries that joined the mechanism after COP28, emphasizing the role of JCM in the implementation of more than 250 decarbonization projects around the world.
The purpose of the meeting was:
Summarizing and sharing experiences on the implementation of JCM.
Strengthening partnerships between participating countries, including new technologies and opportunities for investment in decarbonization projects.
