As part of the large-scale environmental campaign "Taza Kazakhstan", a drawing contest is being held in the capital's schools among students of grades 5-7 on the theme "Ecology through the eyes of children", the official website of the capital's akimat reports.
The participants of the competition can express ideas and vision of the future of the ecology of Kazakhstan through their creativity. The best works will take part in the city stage, where the works of students of the city's schools will be presented. As a result, the winners will be awarded with diplomas and prizes.
"As part of the environmental project, a creative competition was held among the students, the purpose of which is to strengthen the sense of responsibility for the environment. We pay special attention to the education of environmental awareness among the students of our school. We actively involve them in various activities to maintain cleanliness and study the traditions of our people," said Bekaidar Shalakhaev, Deputy Director for Educational Work at gymnasium School No. 32.
In addition, high school students took part in the school competition. Such an initiative allows the younger generation to be involved in the implementation of the goals of the Taza Kazakhstan project.
"I am glad that our country pays so much attention to the environment, it is extremely important for sustainable development. The project provides an opportunity to convey an understanding of the importance of ecology through a creative approach – this pleases me. In my work, I clearly expressed my support for the Taza Kazakhstan campaign," Stanislav Vovchenko, a student of the school and a participant in the competition, shared his impression.
Recall, as part of the large-scale eco-action "Taza Kazakhstan. Astana is a model of cleanliness and order" work is underway on sanitary cleaning of the city, storm and irrigation sewers, cleaning streets, sidewalks, residential areas, public spaces and courtyards.
Work is also underway on the maintenance and planting of green spaces, cleaning of territories adjacent to commercial facilities, the elimination of unauthorized landfills, etc.
