During the meeting, the heads of transport departments stressed the importance of cooperation in the transport sector in line with previously reached agreements.
Special attention was paid to the signing of bilateral documents on the eve of the state visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to the Republic of Kazakhstan, the development of international road transport, expanding the geography of flights, exploring the creation of new transport corridors, etc.

There was also a stable level of traffic in the field of rail and road transport between the countries, amounting to 110 million tons.

Following the talks, the parties expressed their readiness to further deepen cooperation in the field of transport, which will contribute to further strengthening the strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Russia.
