A grandiose cultural event took place in Semey – a concert by the People's Artist of Kazakhstan, composer and kuishi Seken Turysbek, as well as the Ak Zhauyn orchestra.
Seken Turysbek is a laureate of state prizes, orders of Parasat and Kurmet, one of the pillars of Kazakh musical culture, whose works have long been included in the golden fund of national art. His work embodies the harmony of tradition and modernity, which makes his performances a real feast for music lovers.
This evening, the Ak Zhauyn orchestra, known for its vivid interpretations of Kazakh music, performed on the stage. The team, which is a laureate of the Youth Union of Kazakhstan and the International Festival "Shabyt", presented virtuoso compositions to the public, which caused a storm of applause.
"Seken Karimovich Turysbek is a virtuoso whose work carefully preserves the traditions of the great masters of Kazakh music, such as Kurmangazy and Tattimbet. You have become a favorite of the people, a man whose name has become a symbol of the greatness of national culture. You have become the creator of great works: "Ak zhauyn", "Daraboz", "Uly Dala" and, of course, "Koni tolkyny", which won the hearts of listeners. Your compositions "Konyr Kaz" and "Shagala" delight the ear with melodiousness and sophistication, and each work becomes a contribution to the greatness of national culture. As the folk wisdom says: "Raise a banner in your native land." Your fellow countrymen sincerely thank you for your loyalty to your native land and contribution to its development. When the region gained a new status, you were the first to share the joy of this event and decorate it with your art!" said Nurlan Urankhayev, delivering a congratulatory speech.
During the solemn event, the famous entrepreneur and philanthropist Talgat Sakan presented kuishi with a certificate for a car.
"Thank you so much for your warm attitude, attention and respect. It is a great honor for me to perform in my native land and receive recognition from my fellow countrymen," said Seken Turysbek.
Performances by talented artists Bibigul Kilimkhan, Gulnur Sargizova and Zhiger Bertisov became a special decoration of the program. Local artists of the Abai region did not stand aside either.
It should be noted that on the eve of the Republic Day, the Head of State signed a decree awarding a number of citizens with state awards. For his invaluable contribution to the development of national art, Seken Turysbek was awarded the honorary title of "People's Artist of Kazakhstan".
