A solemn evening dedicated to the Day of Workers of the Social Protection System was held in Astana, the official website of the capital's akimat reports.
It was attended by Deputy Akim of Astana city Erik Meyrkhanov, head of the city Department of Employment and Social Protection Ilya Skub, Deputy chairman of the trade union, chairman of the Astana branch Atakozi Nurlanov, as well as industry experts.
Deputy Mayor of the city Yerik Meyrkhanov presented certificates of honor and letters of thanks from the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, as well as letters of thanks from the Mayor of Astana.
"Dear employees of the social protection system! I sincerely congratulate you on your professional holiday. Currently, about 2 thousand specialists work in this field in the capital. You provide assistance to the elderly, people with special needs, low-income and large families. I express my sincere gratitude to you for taking care of those who need your help. I wish you family well-being and success in your work!" said the deputy mayor of the city.
Employees of the social protection system were awarded medals: "For significant work", "Trade unionist", "Excellent student of the social sphere", "Professional in his field".
Also, the Department of Employment and Social Protection of Astana city, on the eve of the celebration of the Day of Workers of the Social Protection system, announced the winners of the Spartakiad in such sports as checkers, chess, volleyball, togyzkumalak, table tennis, mini-football. They were awarded by the head of the Department of employment and Social protection of Astana Ilya Skub.
