The state provides comprehensive support for the development of crop production, including sugar beet production. In particular, this year the region allocated about 14 billion tenge for the development of crop production, of which 9.7 billion tenge for subsidizing priority crops, 2.6 billion tenge of mineral fertilizers, about 1.2 billion tenge. per seed, about
483 million tenge is provided for subsidizing pesticides. Also, 11 thousand tons of cheaper diesel fuel were allocated for spring field and harvesting operations.
In addition, 2.5 billion tenge was allocated from the regional budget for the creation of 8 new service and procurement centers for the cultivation of sugar beet in 5 districts, 62 units of sowing and harvesting equipment were purchased and leased to farms, including 28 seeders, 15 harvesters and 19 combines.
To date, sugar factories have paid 3.3 billion tenge to beet growers, including the Koksu Sugar Plant – 1.4 billion tenge. tenge, Aksu sugar factory – 1.9 billion tenge. In addition, the Department of Agriculture of the region has paid 3.1 billion tenge of subsidies for 160 applications received today from beet farms.
