More than 2 thousand vacancies and 20 thousand in the queue for training: the JOLTAP project is gaining momentum in the capital

A large-scale festival "JASTAR FEST" was held in Astana, within the framework of which the head of the social project "JOLTAP" Dana Zhunusova told the youth in more detail about the possibilities of learning digital professions and employment, the official website of the capital's akimat reports.
According to Dana Zhunusova, the JOLTAP social project provides an opportunity to take free courses, find your way and increase income.
"Within the framework of the JOLTAP project, 18 short-term courses are provided: 8 digital and 10 working specialties. For example, these are seamstress courses, baristas, auto oil change and tire service, mobilography, SMM, targeting, video editing, graphic design. It is worth noting that the courses are conducted on an absolutely free basis," said the head of the project.
According to the project manager, there are more than 7 modular points in crowded places in the capital where you can enroll in training.
"The training lasts from 5 to 22 days, depending on the course. After training, a certificate is issued, supplies and equipment are provided. At the end of the course, we help young people with employment, which is carried out on the JUMYSTAP platform.
The platform features more than 2,000 current vacancies from 1,600 employers in the capital.
The JUMYSTAP platform is already used by more than 10 thousand people," Dana Zhunusova shared.
She also noted that during the year of the project, more than 24 thousand people applied to modular points, of which 20 thousand have already signed up for training. In total, about 8 thousand people have been trained today.
The youth festival "JASTAR FEST" was held in the capital, which was organized with the support of the Mayor's Office of the capital and the Department for Youth Policy of the city.
