Deputy of the Maslikhat of Astana Arslanbek Magzum, during a speech at the youth festival "JASTAR FEST", noted the importance of young people's participation in the country's social processes, the official website of the capital's akimat reports.
"Many opportunities are now open to the youth of the XXI century – these are not only cool events that take place in the capital, but also various grants, free courses, and a political direction. We all know that there are many young ministers, deputies, and managers now. I would like to say that young people are not afraid to go into public service. I am an example of the fact that, being a deputy of the local maslikhat, you can offer ideas, protect the rights of youth, guide and participate in important events of the city and the country," Arslanbek Magzum shared.
The MP also called on young people to take care of the environment.
"Our state pays a lot of attention to youth issues. Various promotions and events are taking place. For example, the campaign "Taza Kazakhstan" is not only about the cleanliness of the city, but also about the purity of language, culture, thoughts, behavior. This action has a very deep meaning," the speaker said.
Recall that the capital hosts the youth festival "JASTAR FEST", which is organized with the support of the Department for Youth Policy of the city.
