Foreigners who want to combine their work with travel in Kazakhstan can apply for a Neo Nomad Visa. To do this, it is necessary to provide several documents to the nearest foreign institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan:
A bank statement for the last 6 months confirming a monthly income of over $3,000
☑️ Tax return issued by the competent authority of the country of citizenship
☑️ A certificate of non-conviction issued by the authority of the country of citizenship or permanent residence
☑️ Medical insurance for the duration of the visa
☑️ Invitation from a travel company in Kazakhstan (not required for citizens of 48 countries)
The Neo Nomad Visa processing process takes no more than 5 working days. The visa is issued for a period of up to 1 year and it is possible to extend it. Family members of the main applicant can also obtain a visa.
It is important to note that this visa does not provide for the possibility of employment in Kazakhstan. In accordance with Article 216 of the Tax Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the holder of a Neo Nomad Visa has no obligations to pay taxes in Kazakhstan, since his source of income is located outside the country.
