The Qazaqstan Pavilion hosted the thematic event "Human capital and a Sustainable Future: the role of education, youth and innovation to enhance climate resilience" at the 29th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29).
The main purpose of the event was to emphasize the importance of education for sustainable development, as well as to reveal the role of youth, NGOs and civil society in addressing climate challenges.
The participants discussed the current work in the field of higher education, initiatives of governments and international organizations.
The results of the National Youth Conference LCOY Qazaqstan and the text of the statement of the youth of Kazakhstan as a basis for further action in the international arena were considered.
