This event was organized to promote the fight against HIV infection.
For this purpose, more than 200 students of grades 9-11 and university and college students involved in volleyball, tug of war, asyk ata, and ice skating took part in the ASPAN sports complex for the first time.
"Most of the HIV-infected people are between the ages of 20 and 39. Because most citizens do not know the basic principles of caution. The information related to this is not readable on the Internet, even if it exists. Our motto at today's event is to spend 5 minutes fighting HIV. By knowing this information, you can also save your future. Since most of the students and students were close to sports, we decided to choose this place. We believe that today's propaganda is bearing fruit, and the participants deeply understand the information about HIV," said Kanat Askarov, Head of the State Committee for the Prevention of HIV Infection in Astana.
This is not the first measure of the HIV prevention center in Astana. Since November, the staff of the center, together with the departments of physical culture and sports, education of Astana, have been conducting consultations and express tests in the capital.
Returning to the competition, today 9 teams in volleyball, 16 teams in asyk ata, 10 teams in skating, 7 teams in tug of war competed for prizes. In particular, in the national ice running game, 10th grade student Ali Karimov, who moved from Tajikistan, surprised the audience with his skill, beating his rivals by 300 points.
The winners of the competition will be determined today, and the winners will be awarded a special cup and medals.
