On the eve of the Republic Day, a new paramedic and obstetric center (FAP) was opened in the village of Karaganda, Burlinsky district, built as part of the national project "Modernization of rural healthcare". This project is aimed at increasing the availability of medical care for residents of rural regions.
The construction of the facility began in May 2024, and today the FAP is ready to receive the first patients. The building houses a registry office, an emergency room, a gynecological office, medical and nursing offices, a physiotherapy room, a sterilization room and other premises necessary to ensure high-quality medical care.
The FAP of the room is equipped with modern medical equipment, including a telemetric electrocardiograph, devices for ultraviolet and magnetic therapy, a spirograph, a defibrillator and a cardiotocography device for monitoring pregnant women.
At the opening ceremony, the residents of the village were congratulated by the governor of the region Nariman Turegaliyev, who noted the importance of the project for rural medicine.
"The Head of State has repeatedly stressed the high social importance of the program for the modernization of rural healthcare, since it is in rural areas that access to high-quality medical care is often limited. Thanks to the implementation of this project, we see real changes in the lives of our citizens. Now residents of the village of Karaganda will be able to receive the necessary medical care in a timely and comfortable manner," the mayor said.
Qualified personnel have been recruited to work in the Karaganda FAP: a midwife, a nurse, a junior medical worker, a driver and three gas operators.
"We were really looking forward to the opening of this outpatient clinic - it is new, equipped with modern equipment. Thanks to the President and everyone who was involved in the construction of the point," Ekaterina Balitskaya, a veteran of the region's healthcare sector, thanked.
In addition, this year 6 new Sobol medical and sanitary vehicles will be transferred to rural FAPs, including the FAP of the village of Karaganda.
The construction of a medical center in the village of Zhanakonys, equipped with everything necessary to provide primary health care, has also been completed. The point includes a registry office, a doctor's examination room, a treatment room and a pharmacy. It is equipped with a defibrillator, an apparatus for ultraviolet therapy and a spirograph. A nurse, a junior nurse and three operators work in the medical center.
By the way, 38 medical facilities are currently under construction in the West Kazakhstan region.
