The Department of Digitalization and Public Services of the capital, together with Astana Hub and Astana Innovations, completed the implementation of the Astana Smart City Accelerator program aimed at introducing advanced technologies into key areas of urban infrastructure, the official website of the city Akimat reports.
On November 20, the final stage of the Demo Day program took place, where the program participants demonstrated their innovative solutions that have already begun to transform the life of the city.
The selected startups have already been successfully launched in public clinics, schools, public transport, as well as in urban services and infrastructure facilities in Astana. They optimize the work of medical organizations, reduce the burden on doctors, increase safety in educational and social institutions, save resources and improve urban services.
The program has aroused wide interest among the technology community. Of the 128 applications, 107 passed the initial selection, and the finalists received funding of up to 5 million tenge through Seed Money from Astana Hub. The participants were also provided with expert support and access to infrastructure for testing solutions in real conditions.

The results of the pilot projects show that technologies can already solve the urgent tasks of the city and improve the quality of life of its residents. Scaling of the best solutions to other regions of Kazakhstan and access to international markets is ahead.
