On the eve of the Republic Day, the grand opening of a new comprehensive school for 108 places, built within the framework of social and infrastructure projects of the KPO B. V. company, took place in the village of Zharsuat in the Burlinsky district of the West Kazakhstan region. The school is equipped with everything necessary to ensure a high level of education and comfort for students.
The new building includes 12 modern classrooms, of which 10 are equipped with interactive whiteboards. The school also has 2 workshops, a computer science room, a sports hall, a library, an assembly hall with 70 seats and a dining room with 30 seats. There is a playground, football and basketball fields, a running track, a sports ground and a recreation area in the courtyard of the school.
Akim of West Kazakhstan region Nariman Turegaliyev visited the new school and congratulated teachers, students and their parents on this important event. The head of the region stressed the importance of modernizing the educational infrastructure in rural areas.
"The President gave a clear instruction to modernize rural schools and fully equip them with the necessary equipment. Today we see how these plans are being implemented in practice. Let this new school become a place of attraction for children, a center of knowledge and development. I am sure that it will open up new horizons and opportunities for the students for a successful future," Nariman Turegaliyev said.
By the way, the new school employs 29 teachers who ensure a high level of education and upbringing. The opening of the school contributes to improving the quality of education in rural areas.
Rosa Akhmetova, a veteran of education in the Burlinsky district, noted that the new school is a long-awaited joy for the villagers.
"The new school is a joy for rural children. They used to be educated at the old school. We express our gratitude to the Head of State for his attention to the countryside," said Rosa Akhmetova
Today, on behalf of the President, 9 schools for 8,100 places are being built in the West Kazakhstan region within the framework of the national project "Comfortable School". 3 of them will be completed by the end of this year.
In his speech, Deputy General Director of KPO B. V. Mukhtar Mankeev added that as part of a joint project with the regional akimat, the company built the 15th school in rural areas.
"As part of the initiative of the head of the region, since 2023 we are implementing a project for the construction and modernization of schools in rural areas. It is important for us that rural children receive a high-quality education. Today's school is the 15th school of our company, built in the West Kazakhstan region," Mukhtar Mankeev said.
It should be noted that within the framework of KPO B. V.'s social and infrastructure projects, 4 schools are undergoing major repairs.
