Seminar on the formation of an anti-corruption culture

On November 20, 2024, a seminar on the topic "Formation of an anti-corruption culture: the role of a civil servant" was held at the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the chairmanship of Chief of Staff S.A. Yerseitova.
Zh.Zh. Zhylkyshieva, an officer for particularly important cases of the Anti-Corruption Agency's Prevention Service, acted as an invited speaker at the event. In her report, she highlighted the main aspects of the anti-corruption policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, restrictions related to corruption, conflicts of interest, as well as recent changes and additions to legislation.
The seminar was attended by heads and staff of committees, structural and territorial divisions, as well as subordinate organizations of the Ministry of Justice. The participants discussed the role and responsibility of civil servants in the formation of an anti-corruption culture, the negative consequences of corruption for society and ways to prevent it.
In addition, the Ethics Commissioner of the Ministry of Justice, A.S. Sydykova, stressed that every civil servant plays a huge role in the fight against corruption, and for this it is necessary to always adhere to the principles of honesty, fairness, openness, decency and modesty.
The Ministry of Justice continues to actively work to strengthen the fight against corruption, based on the principles of fairness, openness and accountability.
