On October 17, 2024, Akim of the West Kazakhstan region Nariman Turegaliyev visited the Zhanibek district on a working visit. During the trip, he got acquainted with the work of key industrial and social facilities of the district, and also held a meeting with local residents.
One of the most significant objects of the visit was the asphalt plant, opened in 2021. Today, the company produces up to 90 tons of asphalt per hour, providing jobs for 70 people, 50 of whom are local residents. The plant plays an important role in the development of the region's road infrastructure.
The governor of the region also visited the regional Veterans' Home, where he discussed issues of support for senior citizens.
The trip ended with a meeting with the population of the Zhanibek district, where Nariman Turegaliyev reported on his activities and answered topical questions from citizens. In particular, they discussed the construction of a highway in the village of Kuigenkol, the condition of roads in the area, providing residents with drinking water, organizing transportation of people and improving social protection.
"We understand that the issues of roads, water supply and social support are priorities for the population. Work on their solution is already underway, and we will continue to do everything possible to improve the living conditions of our citizens. Your opinion and feedback are very important to us, and each request will be taken into account in the further development plans of the region. All the instructions of the Head of State concerning the development of the region are always under special control," said Akim of the West Kazakhstan region Nariman Turegaliyev.
The issues raised were carefully considered, the mayor assured that work on their solution is underway and will continue within the framework of regional programs. The meeting allowed residents to directly express their suggestions and receive clarifications on topics of concern.
