On November 21, 2024, a drill review was held in the city of Kyzylorda in the Levybereg microdistrict and the readiness of regional civil protection services was checked with the participation of Akim of the Kyzylorda region Nurlybek Nalibayev.
Also, a practical stage of exercises was held in the area of the Korkyt Ata airport. At the first stage of the exercise, a conditional traffic accident occurred. The Department received a message that a traffic accident occurred as a result of a collision between a car and a bus near the regional airport. As a result, a traffic jam formed at the scene. At the same time, the driver of the car was trapped and injured in the accident. The passengers inside the bus were damaged. The local police service carried out work to protect public order and protect the scene of the incident. The victims were taken out of the car by rescuers of the operational rescue squad, first aid was provided by doctors of the Disaster Medicine Center. Seriously injured passengers were taken to the hospital by ambulance service specialists. Passengers stuck in traffic were taken to the heating points by a special bus. They are provided with hot meals and necessary accessories.
At the second stage, search and rescue operations were conducted in the area of the Korkytata airport. The Department's Planning and Operational Management Center received a message that 2 people went missing near KorkytAta airport in search of cattle. The weather deteriorated sharply, heavy snowfall fell. According to this message, an emergency search and rescue group was created.Search and rescue operations were carried out using the Eurocopter helicopter of Kazaviaspas JSC. A helicopter landed at the designated place, dog training groups and rescuers in an ATV car conducted search and rescue operations in two directions. The military personnel of the military unit No. 5547 of the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan also took an active part in the search work.Rescuers found the missing in time. Medical assistance was provided to the found people. The victims were taken by helicopter to KorkytAta airport. The brigade of the branch of the Center for Disaster Medicine and employees of the Red Crescent Society hospitalized the victims in a medical facility.
As a result of the exercise, an assessment of the readiness of civil protection services to respond to winter emergencies was given.
