The territorial divisions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations are actively working to improve fire safety in the residential sector.
In Zhambyl region, special attention is paid to socially vulnerable segments of the population, where 3,957 families belonging to this category live.
Two months of fire safety were organized during the year. As part of preventive measures, rescuers visited 12,586 residential buildings, instructed 27,689 people to comply with fire safety rules during the heating season, and also held 293 meetings with the participation of 3,516 residents of the region.
Since June 1, 2024, 1,722 sensors have been installed in the homes of socially vulnerable families.
In the period from November 6 to November 14, in Sarysu, Talas and Zhualy districts, together with local executive bodies, work was carried out to install carbon monoxide sensors and clean heating stoves. Memos were distributed in the residential sector and detailed safety instructions were provided.
"In order to digitalize, the Department of Emergency Situations is working on placing QR codes in crowded places. By scanning these QR codes, residents can familiarize themselves with the rules of conduct in various emergency situations," said Deputy Head of the Emergency Department Yeraly Akylbekov.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds of the importance of observing fire safety rules. Only through joint efforts can tragedies be prevented and lives saved.
