The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan has prepared an order providing for the postponement of the weekend in January 2025.
According to the order of the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On postponing the rest day in 2025", the day off from Sunday, January 5, 2025, is postponed to Friday, January 3, 2025.
Thus, with a five–day working week, Kazakhstanis will be able to rest from January 1 to January 4, and with a six-day working week - from January 1 to January 3.
This postponement of the weekend will make it possible to optimally distribute working hours and create favorable conditions for citizens to relax.
