The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kazakh Invest and UBM Group signed a framework agreement on the implementation of projects for the production of mixed feeds and premixes in Kazakhstan

During the state visit of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Hungary, a Kazakh-Hungarian investment round table was held.
The President noted the dynamic development of economic relations between the two countries. He stated that his first state visit to Budapest opens a new chapter in the Kazakh-Hungarian strategic partnership.
– This year marks the 10th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration on Strategic Partnership with your country. Throughout this period, our close cooperation has been based on mutual trust and common goals. The volume of Hungarian investments in Kazakhstan has reached $ 370 million. More than 70 Hungarian companies, including MOL Group and Gedeon Richter, successfully operate in our country. The implementation of joint investment projects with investments of more than $ 540 million in mechanical engineering, agriculture and logistics is being worked out," Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said.
The President informed Hungarian businessmen that there are great prospects for deepening investment cooperation in such priority areas as energy, production of rare earth materials, transport and logistics, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, digitalization and the financial market.
As a result of the event, 7 commercial documents were signed in the fields of agriculture, digitalization of transport infrastructure, education and support for joint investment projects.
Upon completion of the negotiations in a narrow format, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Prime Minister of Hungary continued the discussion in an expanded format with the participation of members of official delegations.
The interlocutors discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation and reached a number of important agreements, including the creation of the Kazakhstan–Hungary Investment Fund. The discussion focused on key areas of cooperation, such as trade and economic partnership, energy, oil and gas, transport and education.
In turn, Viktor Orban noted the importance of intensifying bilateral ties and expressed confidence in the successful implementation of the agreements reached.
– Our countries have a common history and great prospects for strengthening cooperation. Today's talks will create a basis for further cooperation in the interests of our peoples," the Hungarian Prime Minister said.
Following the talks, a joint statement was signed reflecting the intention of the two countries to further strengthen strategic partnership and implement joint initiatives.
Members of the official delegations of Kazakhstan and Hungary signed 6 documents, including a memorandum of a trilateral framework agreement between the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kazakh Invest and UBM Group on the implementation of projects for the production of mixed feeds and premixes in Kazakhstan.
