As part of the working trip, Deputy Akim of the region Zhasulan Sarsebayev, together with the heads of departments, visited Beskaragai district. The purpose of the trip is to meet with the district's activists to explain ways to obtain measures of state social support for citizens, inform the population about work in the field of onomastics, youth and gender policy.
The delegation got acquainted with the work of a number of educational institutions in the district. Special attention was paid to improving the infrastructure of schools, improving the quality of education and improving pedagogical work. During the meeting with the social workers of the district, the prospects for the development of key educational institutions and the need to modernize the educational infrastructure were discussed.
"It is necessary to improve the voucher financing system, which plays an important role in increasing competition between educational institutions and contributes to improving the quality of education. We must create conditions for the growth and realization of the potential of every person, regardless of their age or place of residence," said the deputy akim of the region.
Beskaragai College, which is the main training center for specialists in agriculture and other industries, continues to make a significant contribution to the development of the region's economy. Currently, 221 students are studying at the college in six areas, and work on obtaining a license for a new specialty continues. In total, there are 21 schools in the district, of which 16 are low-grade. They have about 3,000 students. As part of the national project "Comfortable School", a 300-seat school is being built in the district center, the completion of which is scheduled for 2025.
A special place in the life of the district is occupied by the House of Friendship, which has been operating since 2014. There are four ethnocultural associations, as well as Councils of Mothers and Social Harmony, an active longevity center and a mediation corner. In 2024, the Friendship House organized 228 events, which were attended by over 4,200 people. Representatives of 28 nationalities live in the district, which makes it possible to develop a rich cultural life and preserve the harmony of interethnic relations.
The cultural sphere of the district includes 31 institutions. Over the past two years, new village clubs have been put into operation in the villages of Boztal, Malaya-Vladimirovka, Koyanbai, Ondiris, Dolon, Bokebai and Boden. However, many cultural objects need to be repaired. Over the 10 months of 2024, about 450 cultural events were held aimed at developing folk art and working with young people.
There are 42 sports facilities on the territory of Beskaragai district. In 2024, mini-football fields were built in the villages of Boztal and Kanonerka, and a full—fledged football field was built in the village of Malaya Vladimirovka. Large-scale work is planned for the coming years: the construction of modular gyms, the creation of training bases, expanding the availability of sports sections for young people and adults, the introduction of modern technologies into the training process and professional development of coaches. Currently, the construction of a swimming pool has begun in the area. The construction work is scheduled to be completed in 2025.
