During a working trip to the East Kazakhstan region, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Tamara Duissenova visited an exhibition of products presented by participants of the Auyl Amanaty program. This initiative, aimed at improving the living standards and incomes of villagers, opens up opportunities for the development of various areas of agricultural business.
The exhibition featured food products, light industry products and the work of artisans. The participants of the program, who received loans at 2.5%, highly appreciated its effectiveness. The event was held on the territory of the Altai wholesale and distribution center. The first stage of the center's construction is already nearing completion: a warehouse designed to store up to 18 thousand tons of vegetables has been put into operation. It is planned to open a retail space in the near future.
The work of the center was positively assessed by the Deputy Prime Minister, and the regional akimat stressed the importance of comprehensive support for local producers.
For residents of East Kazakhstan, there is another new opportunity to sell their products: one of the largest enterprises in the region, Kazzinc, will increase the volume of food purchases from local agricultural producers. These intentions are fixed by a memorandum between the akimat of the region and the company. It is worth noting that Kazzinc allocates 800 million tenge for these purposes for all branches in the country.
