The Day of agricultural workers was celebrated in the East Kazakhstan region. In honor of this significant day, a solemn ceremony of awarding the best representatives of the industry was held in Ust-Kamenogorsk.
Akim of the East Kazakhstan region Yermek Kosherbayev and representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture noted the merits of farmers, presenting them with state awards, orders, medals and diplomas.
In his speech, Akim of the region Yermek Kosherbayev noted the leading producers of grain crops, among which the company "Sey-Nar" is the largest grain trader in the country. According to the head of the region, it is important not only to harvest, but also to successfully implement it. This makes it possible to develop the region's economy, pay taxes and contribute to food security both inside and outside the country.
— To grow a crop, to harvest it is a big deal. But an equally important task is to sell products, make a profit, and pay taxes. Our entrepreneurs are successfully coping with this by supporting the food program of Kazakhstan. With the increase in agricultural production, the processing industry of the agro-industrial complex is developing. The President has set a task to increase the share of processed products in the agro—industrial complex to 70% within three years and we plan to strengthen work in this direction," Yermek Kosherbayev said.
Among the awardees are successful entrepreneurs whose achievements have become an example for the entire industry. The head of the peasant farm Zhenisbek Karybayev, who was awarded the "Enbek Ardageri" medal, spoke about his successes in breeding bayys sheep.
— I have been working in agriculture for more than 30 years. The Bayys breed is in demand for export, and we plan to establish cooperation with the Arab Emirates. The state provides us with significant support, especially in providing equipment. I am very glad that our work was awarded," Zhenisbek Karybayev shared.
Six employees were awarded high state awards. Four received the medal "For impeccable service", and the head of the peasant farm "Satbai" Kairat Adikov was awarded the order "Kurmet". Rabiga Tokseitova, Vice President for External Relations of Aitas KZ JSC, was awarded the Parasat Order. In addition, Vice Minister of Agriculture Yerbol Taszhurekov awarded the best employees of the industry with departmental badges, medals and diplomas. Also, for a significant contribution to the development of the agro-industrial complex, honorary diplomas of the akim of the region were awarded to the best farmers of the region.
